how important is the initiative?
Development of new businesses in the country
We believe in the power of technology as a tool for transforming society. The technology sector is the basis for developing new businesses, increasing productivity and generating income, and we reinforce Boticário Group’s commitment to society through the promotion of education and personal and professional training.
Technology professional gap
Our goal is to ensure that we are working to reduce the long-term skills gap in technology. According to a survey by Brasscom, at the end of 2020, Brazil had 159 thousand open jobs, but only trained 53 thousand professionals in the technology area. The same group estimates that the open demand for technology professionals should reach 797 thousand positions by 2025, that is, there will be a gap of 530 thousand unfilled openings in the area.
Social impact
Boticário Group and AWS are two companies with retail and technology roots. Both of them are leaders in their segments and decided to jointly use their influence in the market to generate immediate social impact, training thousands of professionals, free of charge, to work with new technologies.
why Cloud teaching?
Professionals who work with cloud computing have strategic and prominent positions in the organizational structure of companies. This is due to two main reasons:
- the continuous inclusion of systems and software that work in the cloud in the routine of teams in companies.
- the fact that these solutions mean reduced costs for companies.
Careers in cloud computing have an average salary above BRL 8,000. We predicted that, by 2025, cloud technology will be the skill with the greatest demand in the global job market.
